Description

DSI rolls out two 8-bit classics in this double-game cartridge, redesigned for play on the Game Boy Advance.

In Marble Madness, players maneuver a marble through a series of sloping, maze-like courses, trying to reach the end of each course within a given time limit. While steering the marble along narrow pathways, twisting turns and steep ramps, players must be careful of hazardous drops, acid pools, dangerous enemies (such as Marble Munchers), and other obstacles. Exceptional performances "charm" players with extra time.

One of the more inventive Tetris-inspired games, Klax has enough unique features to avoid being labeled with such pejorative terms as "clone" and "ripoff." The descending tiles format is obviously borrowed from Tetris, and lining up three puzzle pieces of the same color is taken straight from Columns. However, several play elements give Klax its own identity and strategies.
