Description
Based on M. Night Shyamalan's live-action film, itself inspired by the Avatar animated series that aired for three seasons on Nickelodeon, The Last Airbender is a 3D beat-'em-up starring Aang and Prince Zuko as playable characters. Each martial artist will engage in hand-to-hand combat and channel powerful fire- or air-bending techniques, depending on his elemental affiliation. Aang can manipulate water, for example, while Zuko's alter ego, the Blue Spirit, can perform dodge rolls, slash attacks, and aerial acrobatics. Defeat three bosses and complete all 14 levels to win the game. DSi owners can use the system's built-in camera to determine which type of "bender" they are with the "bender detector" feature.
